Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a round cake pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Mix until smooth and well blended.
- Divide the batter into two bowls. In one of the bowls, stir in the cocoa powder to create a chocolate batter.
- Alternate pouring the yellow and chocolate batters into the prepared cake pan; aim for a zebra pattern.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Once baked, allow the cake to cool completely.
Frosting and Serving
- Frost the top with the chocolate frosting and the sides with the vanilla frosting.
