  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 medium Onion, chopped
  • 1 can Cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Butter, melted
  • 2 cups Cheese, shredded (your choice) Cheddar, Monterey Jack, or Pepper Jack are good options.
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 30 oz frozen hashbrowns

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the garlic powder, chopped onion, cream of chicken soup, pepper, salt, melted butter, cheese, sour cream, and frozen hashbrowns. Blend until well mixed.
  3. Pour this creamy hashbrown mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake in the oven for about 1 hour or until the casserole is bubbly and the top is lightly golden.
Serving
  1. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving, allowing the flavors to meld beautifully.
