- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, garlic powder, green bell pepper, onion, onion powder, eggs, mustard, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, brown sugar, smoked paprika, salt, crushed Ritz crackers, and milk.
- Combine the ingredients until they’re just mixed. Be careful not to overmix to avoid a denser texture.
- Transfer the meat mixture into a greased loaf pan, shaping it neatly into a loaf.
Cooking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Once done, let it rest for about 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For best results, consider using a mix of ground beef and ground pork or turkey. Allowing the meatloaf to rest before slicing ensures it retains its juices.
