  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1/2 cup Green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Onion, chopped
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Ritz crackers, crushed
  • 3/4 cup Milk
Seasonings and Sauces
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp Parsley, dried
  • 1/2 tsp Thyme, dried
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup Ketchup for topping if desired

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, green bell pepper, onion, onion powder, parsley, thyme, eggs, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, brown sugar, salt, crushed Ritz crackers, and milk. Mix until well combined.
  3. Transfer the meat mixture into a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  2. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Storing leftovers properly can extend the life of your delicious meatloaf. Allow any leftovers to cool completely before wrapping them tightly in plastic wrap or transferring them into an airtight container. They can be stored in the refrigerator for up to four days or frozen for up to three months.
